Sandra called us in late January after discovering that the pipe feeding her outdoor hose bib had frozen and cracked sometime during a cold snap earlier that week. She had shut off the water to that section of the house but was not sure how extensive the damage was or whether there were other pipes affected nearby.
Our plumber checked the line, confirmed the crack was limited to a short section just inside the garage wall, and replaced that portion of the pipe.
